What Is M4(H)?

It totally went over the head of the average American home and land speculator that they had entered into a very leveraged M1, M2, M3, M4 situation where the float on house deposits and electronic payments has passed the bubble busting amount that was the cause of "Asian Flu," where the pledged, over inflated value of downtown Tokyo almost brought down a global stock market with a crash. The entire consumer knew for certain that it was risky to write a check anymore without actually having money in the bank. The days of kiting a check (M2), through a guaranteed three-day postal delivery cycle without having "real" money in the bank (M1), were over. That is, unless you were holding ìvaluable paper certificatesî in the provable worth of homes (M4) surrounding a diminished gold depository in Fort Knox, Kentucky.

I could go on, and on, about using paper houses to create wealth, but the underlying philosophy of that will become apparent in a short time, as what has been referred by the financial press to as a "so-called housing bubble," totally passes by any sort of fiscal restraint. "King Housing," supporting the lifestyles of lazy investment folk (a useless FWD in every garage) has led to a great divide of a paper Civil War with those who produce wealth—measured by the yardstick of, "if it isn't grown, or mined, or manufactured by blood, sweat, and tears, there is no creation of value."—Contrasted by board of directors approved "pointed-hair leaders" that are paid 600 times that of a worker on the floor actually doing something productive, who seem to be destroying our country's economy for a short-term financial gain.

Yes, I know I was a high school dropout, and therefore unable to fully comprehend the situation. After all, my only experience with the business of business was being an editor and publisher for four years of a high-end regional economic development magazine, lost through my inattention to the power of local politics. Perhaps you can tell me how the American West (excluding the mega-city enclaves supporting large number of Sierra Club members who have a mind-set that "We can afford to send global warming, air pollution, and union busting, low cost labor intensive industries, overseas.") has become a place where the sign of wealth has become a 1970's pick-up that runs, parked outside a tar-paper shack, in what used to be a prosperous ranching and mining community in Nevada.
