Table Mountain is an ideal bootstrapping opportunity that needs production partners. Our suggestion would be for a production partner or owner to start the mining process by quarrying the nepeheline as dimensional stone and use the waste from the dimensional stone mining to develop the nepheline/polymer uses.

The material is quarried like marble or gravel and because of its location the cost to freight—either rail or barge—is minimal. There are already a number of quarries on the property that is used by the US Forest Service.

With global warming being an ever present problem...this material, with its unique properties, would be a very "green" mined material and could aid all of humanity.

Fortunately the known uses of this space age material— a dozen identified already— all have a "unique" value far above aggregate. When used as a natural soda ash the current value is $100 per ton. Some of the more refined grades intended as fillers for ceramics, plastics, and polyomars can bring up to $500 per ton. Even when used for building stone, the unique properties bring a premium.

The new nepheline/polymer research going on around the world has been remarkable! The nepheline has strength and "R" value that is extremely high and when mixed with polymers is lightweight. There has been research showing this combination of nepheline/polymers could be used in nuclear waste containers, bullet-proof armor for vehicles, hurricane proof housing, airplane composite bodies, insulated-fireproof boat hulls...the list goes on and on.

This ore is not gold ( where $40 per ton would make investors jump for joy) and needs to be marketed, to be sold. This would require a sufficient stockpile to meet customers demands as no architect is going to specify polished "Cloudstone" for a new building, without seeing an inventory sufficient to complete the construction.
